Hello everyone. I hope you all had a nice break and are ready to add some new equipment to your ever-expanding toolkit for teaching. Our article this month is on learning contracts. The authors (Stacey and Halliday) define and provide practical tips as well as useful insight for how they implemented learning contracts in their classes.

The Book review by Todd Wilmore is on Ronald Berk’s book Thirteen Strategies to Measure College Teaching. This book offers some insights into alternative/additional methods of measuring.

The April First Friday is quickly approaching (Becoming a Productive Writer) and FaCIT is offering one last lunchtime training session in March pertaining to Blackboard (Groups).

The Lilly North conference Call for Proposals is open – don’t forget to prepare your proposals and plan to attend (October 4-7, 2007). Also check out the upcoming Blackboard training.

Until next time,
Ireta Ekstrom
