Blackboard assistance the first point
of contact should be the Information
Technology Helpdesk. The IT Helpdesk
is staffed from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM,
Monday through Thursday and from
7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Fridays.
To reach
a technician, you need only call 989-774-3662
or 1-800-950-1144, ext. 3662. Additional
resources, such as online help, quick
guides (for Blackboard and many other
University technologies) and frequently
asked questions are also available
at the helpdesk website, http://www.it.cmich.edu/helpdesk/helpdesk_home.asp.
If in-depth
assistance is required or the helpdesk
staff is unable to answer your question,
they will refer you to the Blackboard
Resource Group for follow up. The group,
consisting of staff members from FaCIT,
ProfEd and IT, will be informed via
email of your need and follow up directly
with you and as quickly as possible.
